Day 17 - at sea

I've never been to the bridge of the ship. Very surprised they're allowing us to do this tour while the ship is in motion to our next port of call. Wouldn't it be a shame if, on accident of course, I bumped into the steering wheel?
Coke is Coke in any language
Kind of excited about this tour
Oh crap, they've heard about me
Full on TSA security
Made it to the bridge!
And the first thing we see? A freaking huge chill couch
Lots of space up here
Everything is computer controlled now so tons of unused space
They have to have their own kitchen
They have these jetways on both sides they use when pulling into / leaving port
All controls to move the ship are on each of the jetways
Radar, sonar screens complete the control system
Yesterday they spotted a whale on the sonar
The ship is programmed and moves from things set into these computers
The ship can stand to have 2 compartments flood and remain afloat
Never know when you'll need detailed blueprints of the ship
The captain's chair
That's it. The steering wheel. I feel ripped off. Wanted to see the huge pirate-ship style wheel
Well that tour was exhausting. Let's see what's for dinner
Yes I'll have some of that and that
... and lots of these
... and of course some of these
Well that was a fun day. See you tomorrow!

Tomorrow - La Coruna, Spain.
