Day 7 - Stonehenge then Southampton

It's so freaking early. I didn't get much sleep as I was terrified of sleeping through my alarm and missing the only bus headed south to the terminal. No time to sleep in, must catch the 7am bus to begin this next phase of the trip.

I can't come this far and skip Stonehenge. For $110 I got to see the famous rock structure plus get transportation to the ship. Just getting to the ship costs $85.
Traffic? Feel like I'm home
Love the colors starting to change
The drive really is stunning
Give you a scale of how small it is - people on the left, rocks on right
An interesting design for the visitors center
How they believe stones were transported
Traffic backs up on the highway so much they're going to move the road miles away to a place you cannot see it
How Stonehenge began, rough rocks planted into the ground then shaped
A quick walk to the stack
How it use to look in it's glory

Now that was a good full day. Beats sitting on the ship. 3pm now. All-aboard is 4, sailaway 5. Enough time to get some delicious food in the windjammer buffet before passing out.
Amazing selection of cheeses
Delicious selection of meats
So many desserts
Ice cream bar every night
I'm a little far from home
Time to begin the journey. South then north
Tomorrow - a much needed sea day
